Founded in 1945, Strood Yacht Club is a family orientated club located on the West bank of the Medway opposite Rochester Castle. Facilities include a modern, fully licensed clubhouse, showers, 130 all-tide pontoon moorings, mudberths, slip and dry-dock, cranage and land berthing. Members enjoy a full calendar of both social and cruising events to which visiting clubs are welcome as are the disabled who have specially adapted facilities for sailing and clubhouse use.
